Crying
A little boy cries on his bed.
Confused about the thoughts that flood his head.
Not knowing who he is or where he belongs.
Never telling anyone about his confusion
Why he cries at night when he’s alone
Never telling of the girl that haunts his thoughts.
Another girl enters his life.
The girl in his thoughts he keeps hidden
Keeping such a secret from his love, he cries
For years he tries to keep them separate
Until the inevitable collision happens
As the two battle each other, he cries.
He tries to give up one to keep the other
Knowing he is unable to let go of either
Crying over decisions which are out of his control.
The one he loves the most makes the decision for him
Leaving because she could not stand another women with her man
Crying because he loved her, knowing she had to go.
The girl from his thoughts has full reign, she will never fade.
Deluged with confusion, she will guide him through
With the loss of his love he will always cry.
He still has a long way to go to fix the years of separation
When it is all complete their will be a beautiful person
On that day she will cry
